How do football players relieve stress?

Nowadays, each of us is exposed to stress, which causes a number of diseases and impair concentration. It’s important especially for football players who need to focus on what is here and now to give their best during matches or training.
So what to do?
Do the same what do e.g. Cristiano Ronaldo, Haaland, Szczęsny or Borussia Dortmund’s players- meditate!
“I tried meditation, 15/20 mins, it really works. It calms and brings me a lot of serenity. I meditate almost every day, working especially on breathing.” – confessed Cristiano Ronaldo when asked how he manages to maintain such great form despite the passage of years.
It’s also not without reason that a meditation specialist was hired for Borussia Dortmund to show the players how to de-stress themselves after the game. Mohamed Salah, Antoine Griezmann and Erling Haaland have even celebrated their own goals by meditation many times!

How to meditate?
Meditation is about delving into your thoughts and looking at them, not analyzing them, but just looking at them. Focus on your breath, chase away bad thoughts that tell you that what you do doesn’t make sense, because that’s not true. This is pure training for the mind!
