How to Be Successful in Life

Have you ever wondered why some people are successful, fulfill their dreams, and enjoy life to the fullest, while others work jobs they dislike, live in small spaces, and spend their free time watching TV?

What sets successful people apart from those whose lives are mediocre or unfulfilled?

You might think that our adult lives are shaped by our childhood and how our parents raised us. But many billionaires and successful individuals come from humble backgrounds—often their parents were not successful. Take Alibaba founder Jack Ma, rapper Jay-Z, or even Cristiano Ronaldo! Starbucks founder Howard Schultz, who grew up in a very poor neighborhood, admitted that observing people with better lives motivated him to work on himself.

What drives some people to move forward, grow, overcome challenges, and achieve great success, while others waste their lives doing things they don’t truly enjoy?

Courage and Perseverance

Courage and perseverance are key traits! Most people give up as soon as things get tough—that’s why they never succeed. Successful people grit their teeth and keep going. They only stop once they reach their goals. Many entrepreneurs went bankrupt more than once but didn’t quit until they built a business that brought them fame and financial stability. Outstanding athletes lost many times but kept fighting until they won their dream trophies!

Dealing with Criticism

Critical comments? We don’t care! Many envy celebrities, but what sets them apart is the courage to face public criticism. Everyone in the spotlight hears unflattering things about themselves—but they usually don’t care. These people do their thing and don’t let others stop them! Unfortunately, people may try to discourage you—often out of fear that you’ll outshine them. Never let anyone distract you from your dreams!

Self-Confidence

Self-confidence is essential—it helps you persist when things get tough. If you believe you’ll succeed, obstacles won’t stop you. You must believe that only you can fully realize your potential and create a fulfilling life for yourself. If you persevere, you can achieve anything you desire!

The Example of Robert Lewandowski

Think of successful people you know. Let’s take a look at famous footballers—don’t they all share these qualities?

Take Robert Lewandowski, for example. When he started playing for Borussia Dortmund, he wasn’t performing at his best—sometimes he even missed an open goal. He was mocked for these mistakes. But what did he do?

He worked tirelessly on his fitness and football skills. After official training, he stayed on the field to practice even more. The German media’s mockery? He ignored it. While others laughed at him, he trained—and believed in himself.

RL9 believed that extra training, excellent nutrition, and proper recovery would pay off. He didn’t care that people stopped believing in him or that he wasn’t the youngest anymore. He believed he could be the best—and that’s exactly what happened: In 2020, he was named the best player in the world and won every possible title with FC Bayern Munich! That same year, he also earned his Master’s degree and became a father for the second time.

So yes—it definitely paid off, didn’t it? 😉
