Free Kick Technique – FK
A recognized standard in football. A player who masters this technique can turn a free kick into a shot almost as dangerous as a penalty kick from 16 meters.
The player strikes the ball from underneath, applying controlled spin.
The ball should be hit from the inside of the foot, below its center of gravity.
Don’t forget to visualize the shot before executing – as Jack Nicklaus said: “I never hit a shot, even in practice, without having a very sharp picture of it in my head.”
